Safeguarding
Safeguarding is at the heart of what we do at Alternative Pathways. We are fully committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of all children and young people, particularly those who may be vulnerable or at risk.

Our staff are trained to identify and respond to signs of abuse, neglect, or exploitation. Clear procedures are in place for reporting concerns, and staff work closely with external agencies like social services and mental health professionals to address any safeguarding issues. Regular risk assessments are conducted, and individual plans may be created to ensure each young person’s unique needs are met.

We foster an environment that is inclusive and safe, fostering trust between young people and staff. Positive relationships help students feel supported and secure, which is essential for their personal development. By making safeguarding central to our ethos, we create a safe space where children and young people can thrive both academically and personally.
